Shiatsu

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a system of Japanese acupressure which involves stretching, leverage and leaning weight into various parts of the recipient's body to encourage greater harmony of energy, circulation, flexibility and postural integrity.

It is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and can help with a wide range of conditions from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health. Shiatsu is performed fully clothed and treatment takes place on a massage table.

Ear Acupuncture

Ear Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used medical procedures in the world. Ear Acupuncture has developed into a speciality area of its own and is widely used to help with symptoms of stress such as back pain, headaches, hypertension and anxiety.

Ear Acupuncture is practised in a group-setting making it both cost effective and team building. People receive the treatment sitting in a chair and sessions last 30-45 minutes.

Chair Massage

On-site Chair Massage

Lorenz Shiatsu chair massage is an invigorating acupressure massage adapted from a traditional form of Japanese bodywork called Shiatsu. The massage includes work on the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and head.

Stress Management Workshops

Stress Management

Work-related stress is the biggest occupational health problem in the UK and tackling it effectively can result in significant benefits for organisations. Sessions help to identify how individuals can address stress-related problems through learning deep breathing and self relaxation techniques.

Stress arises when people do not have enough resources to deal with a given situation. Prolonged stress adversely affects work performance and commonly causes symptoms such as back pain, headaches, hypertension and anxiety.
